Emily de Molly The Devil's Advocate and comparison

On Tuesday the 5th May at 10am, I'm releasing a few new colours. One of these is The Devil's Advocate.

The Devils Advocate is a beautiful bright red subtle holo with heavy red to gold shimmer, which gives it an almost metallic look.

In the right light this just glows!

Seeming how I already have a red holo in my range, I thought I should do a comparison.

You can tell they are quite similar but they do have their differences. The Devil's Advocate is a bit darker, has more depth and positively glows. It is also a not as holo as Seeing Red.
I hope this has helped anyone who was on the fence about buying The Devil's Advocate because they already have Seeing Red  :)

Emily de Molly Restless and Insipid

It should come as no surprise that I wear a lot of my own polish. Its half the reason I have so many untrieds! Last week I decided to wear one I hadn't worn for a long time, Restless.

This colour is actually discontinued now but I still have a handful left in the store and for those not located in Australia, there is probably a few at some of my stockists

And because I can never just wear a plain colour, I decided to add Insipid to it. I think it was the perfect choice.

Lilypad Lacquer Fantasia

Today I have for you Lilypad Lacquers Fantasia. I was lucky enough to grab this one and Enchanting from the latest restock on her website.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret, I love flakies, they are probably my favourite type of polish, so it should come as no surprise that I would want some of Nicole's latest colours.

Did I love this polish? Love is a strong word, but I did like it.
The colour just didn't quite suit me as much as I hoped.
I think next time I wear it I'm going to layer it, or maybe try it matte? Or maybe both?

Even though I didn't love it as much as I hoped, you can see from the pics its an absolute stunner!

China Glaze Capacity To See Beyond with nail vinyls

So I've been meaning to start a blog for a very long time now. I actually created this blog about 3 years ago but I just never really got around to using it! Well thats going to change, maybe...

I have so many pretties to try and perhaps this will be the motivation I need to make more time for me :)

So without further ado, this is one of the polishes from the China Glaze Giver collection.
I purchased this whole collection when it first came out but this is actually the first one I have tried. This is Capacity To See Beyond and its a beautiful light blue creme.

This is such a pretty colour and I could have worn it by itself but I tend to always add something. So I used some of my nail vinyls in the spiral and the triangle design with OPI, Kiss Me At Midnight.
